i got IL2 sturmovik: forgotten battles. its an oldie but its one of the best combat flight sims. unless of course you want ms flight sim so you can sit in front of your screen for 8 hours flying a 747 from london to toronto...

edit: just read your post again oops if you not after a sim i dunno then Sad but in IL2 you can set the controls/ difficulty to an arcade atyle setting, i think.

yeh you need a joystick for sure. even a cheap-ass one like i've got makes it much easier than a mouse. and makes battlefield planes a lot of fun too

Try the best helicopter sim you can get (imo).

Enemy Engaged: Comanche/Hokum and Apache/Havoc are dirt cheap now. http://www.razorworks.com/enemyengaged/

Great fun popping up from behind a ridge and launching a hellfire. Havent played for ages though.

Realistic but not boring like MS FlightSim (although I love that too Wink )

If "a" stands for success, then the formula is:
a = x + y + z
"x" is work, "y" is game
and "z" means to keep one's trap shut.
